Hi, I'm Christoph.

I learned Spanish the hard way — through years of awkward conversations, embarrassing mistakes (yes, I once told someone I was pregnant when I meant embarrassed), and realizing that textbook Spanish gets you nowhere with real people.

Every language app I tried taught me phrases like “Where is the library?” and “I am very pleased to make your acquaintance.” Meanwhile, actual Spanish speakers were saying things like “¿Qué onda?” and “No manches.”

I built this because I wanted a tool that teaches you Spanish the way it's actually spoken. Not the textbook kind. The real kind.
